OPERATION & USE. Important User Warnings
a. No Physical Contact: Do not touch anyone while they are inside the Chamber during a session. Doing so will cause an uncomfortable electric shock, felt by both parties. Users should also keep their arms and legs inside the Chamber during the session. If the user touches anything metal external to the Chamber, it will generate a small but unpleasant shock as well.
b. No Plugged-In Devices: Users must not touch or hold any electrical device (i.e., phone or tablet) that is plugged into a power outlet or external charging device during a session. Doing so will cause an uncomfortable electric shock and may damage the device.
c. Use Only Distilled Water: Add only distilled water to the hydrogen generation reservoir. NEVER use tap water or any other liquid, otherwise, damage can occur to specific interior components that are not covered under the Warranty. Do NOT overfill. Maintain the water level at the 1⁄4 mark.
2. Initial Powering On & Sleep/Wake Modes
a. Initial Powering On: To turn the Chamber on, locate the power switch (next to the power cord) on the backside of the Chamber, and flip the switch from the “0” position to the “1” position. Once turned on, the Chamber will begin a boot-up process, highlighted by a blinking white light emanating from the bed of the Chamber. You may also hear the speakers crackle or pop as the system boots up. This is normal. This boot-up process will last for a few short minutes. You will know the Chamber is ready to begin running sessions when the light emanating from the bed stays on without blinking, and background music begins to play.
b. Engaging Standby-Sleep Mode: There is no need to turn the Chamber off between sessions or at the end of the day. After 5 minutes of inactivity, the Chamber will automatically place itself in a low-power Standby-Sleep mode, with the lights and music off. If you do not want to wait, you can press and hold the physical button under the screen on the column until the Chamber goes into Standby Mode (approximately 8 seconds).
c. Awakening From Sleep: To awaken the Chamber from Standby-Sleep Mode, simply press the physical button underneath the screen on the column.
3. Session Preparation (Before Each Session)
a. Cleanse Bed Surface: If the Chamber’s acrylic bed surface has not been cleaned, spray a small amount of one of the following approved cleaners – Casabella Glass Cleaner, Force of Nature, or Better Life Glass Cleaner – onto the surface of the bed and wipe thoroughly with a soft cotton or microfiber cloth, until dry. Note: The bed must only be cleaned with acrylic-safe ingredients that do not include ammonia, alcohol, or bleach.
b. Attach and Place New Cannula: After the bed surface has been cleaned, locate the brass-colored Hydrogen gas valve stem in the Hydrogen fill port area (located on the surface below the head side of the bed). Attach a new cannula to the valve stem by gently but firmly pushing the end of the cannula tubing to cover the valve stem. Pull the cannula over the top edge of the bed and drape it along the backside edge, so the user can lay next to it and still easily grab it when instructed.
c. Place Clean Towel on Bed: After the bed surface has been cleaned, place a clean rolled or folded towel where the Chamber user’s head rests.
d. Check Water Levels: Check the water level gauge above the Hydrogen gas valve stem to confirm that there is at least 1/16th of a tank of distilled water. If not, add distilled water, but do not fill more than 1⁄2 full. Importantly, tap water (or anything other than distilled water) cannot be used. It will damage the H2 system irreparably.
4. Informed Consent
a. Informed Consent: Every new user must sign an informed consent that properly informs the user so they can make an informed decision about their individual use of the Chamber. Please find the Informed Consent in the appendix of this Manual. All Warnings, Contraindications, and Precautions (included in this Manual) must be included in any Informed Consent used.
5. Session Operation
a. User Session Operation Steps:
i. Step 1: Ensure Room is Private: Ensure that the door to the room is locked and the room is private. It must feel like a private and safe space, as it is important that the user can relax into their journey.
ii. Step 2: Remove Jewelry & Wearables: To protect the Chamber bed surface from scratching, it is best to remove all jewelry before entering the Chamber. Wedding bands and small rings may remain on. You can choose to leave on items like an Apple Watch, Woop, Oura Ring, or similar, yet over time, the battery life could be affected due to multiple technologies interacting.
iii. Step 3: Disrobe to Level of Comfort: To maximize the benefit of the session, we encourage users to remove most, or all, of their clothing. The more skin they expose, the more light benefits they will receive – but it is most important that they only disrobe to their level of comfort.
iv. Step 4: Select Journey & Guide on User Interface: To select and start a Chamber Journey, press the “Begin” button on the screen, follow the Chamber’s voice guidance, and follow the prompts.
v. Nothing Further Required: The voice will guide the user through the entire Chamber process from start to finish. All sessions are timed and include guided breathwork, intention-setting, and integration phases. Once a session has begun, the Chamber will take care of everything, so the user can relax and simply enjoy the ride.
b. Emergency Session Stop: If for any reason, the user wishes to end the session early, they should simply press the physical button below the screen. The lid will rise, and the session will end. Graphics on the screen will also highlight this button, as will the guiding voice, so it is easy to find while in session.
c. Post-Session Cleaning & Preparation: At commercial facilities, we encourage operators to repeat the Session Preparation Steps above after each session to ensure preparedness.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE1. Regular Cleaning Schedules
a. Daily Cleaning: Clean touch surfaces between sessions: acrylic bed, control touchscreen, start/stop button, change out nasal cannula.
b. Weekly Cleaning: Vacuum upper and lower light panel surfaces, and the top surface. Using a damp soft cloth, wipe down the touchscreen, button, and vertical plastic cladding. Vacuum the entire room, including behind the Chamber and around the entire bottom edge. The electrostatic field generated within the Chamber can and will pick up charged dust particles which can impact device performance.
c. Monthly Cleaning: Wipe wood laminate surfaces with the same acrylic-safe bed spray cleaner, or a damp soft cloth.
d. General Cleaning Note: If after using one of the approved acrylic cleaners (see Operation & Use: Session Preparation: Cleanse Bed Surface), the acrylic surface still seems foggy, scratched, marked, or otherwise unclean, you can use the supplied acrylic-safe Novus #2 Fine Scratch Remover, and a soft organic cotton or microfiber towel. Follow the directions on the Novus bottle. Please note (as described in Notices) that each acrylic bed will have some amount of minor imperfections, such as small bubbles, small cracks, small areas of warpage, and/or other minor yet potentially noticeable imperfections.
2. Maintenance
a. Electromagnetic Resonator: Your Ammortal representative will contact you if and when your resonator requires maintenance, based on usage and time.
b. Hydrogen Generation and Intermittent Use: If the Chamber will not be used for a period longer than one week, add distilled water to the machine’s reservoir to keep the hydrogen system’s membrane moist. If the machine has not been used for over 30 days, and the reservoir is dry, drain any existing water from the system, then add fresh distilled water into the reservoir until it reaches 1⁄2 full, and then wait 24 hours before turning the power on. Never let the water reservoir dry up for more than one year, as it may become inoperable. Frequently changing the water is good for the working life of the machine, because the water may become stale.
c. Quarterly Manual Software Updates: The Chamber is designed to receive automatic software updates, but some home and business networks can interfere with that update process. It is thus recommended to perform a manual update. The four steps are as follows:
-
Check to make sure the hardwired ethernet cable is plugged into the port on the side of the vertical column.
-
Flip the main power switch to the off (“0”) position and leave it there for 30 seconds.
-
Flip the switch to the on (“1”) position and swiftly walk over to the tablet interface on the vertical support of the Chamber.
-
Once there, press and hold the physical button below the screen until you read “waiting for internet” on the screen (it should take less than 2 minutes), then release the button.
The Chamber will complete the update from that point and reboot itself. If for some reason, the words “waiting for internet” do not appear on the screen, please contact Ammortal customer service, and they will help you.

i. 50% of the Lights Seem Not to Be Working: The Chamber lights have a 50/50 checkerboard-looking pattern of a) invisible-to-the-human-eye, near-infrared lights, and b) visible red lights. So, if it looks like every other light is not on, it is simply that the human eye cannot see that the lights are on. If desired, you can use your smartphone camera to take a picture of the lights to show that the near-infrared lights are on. However, if any LED light(s) appear to be off, please call Ammortal Customer Service at hello@ammortal.com.
j. One or More LED Lights Are Not Functioning: Please read the Troubleshooting note entitled, “50% Of The Lights Seem Not To Be Working” first. If a single LED light or a section of LED lights does not appear to be working, please contact Ammortal Customer Service at hello@ammortal.com.
k. Not Sure if PEMF/PEF Field Is Working: You can easily determine if the PEMF field is working by one of two methods:
-
While in session, the user can usually feel the field (feels like vibration in the skin) changing when they move their hand towards and away from the top of the bed surface directly above the metal bed supports.
-
When in session (and WITHOUT a user on the bed), you can usually feel the field (feels like vibration in your skin) changing when you move their hand towards and away from the top of the bed surface near a portion of the embedded white coiled wire.
However, if you do not feel the field during either of these tests, please ask another person to try. If neither of you feel the field, please reboot the Chamber as follows:
-
Power the unit off using the switch at the bottom backside of the Chamber and leave it off for 30 seconds, and then
-
Power it on.
The Chamber bed edge lighting will blink during the boot-up process which will take between 2-3 minutes. If you still cannot feel the field, please call Ammortal Customer Service at hello@ammortal.com.
l. Can’t Fully Clean Bed Surface: If after using one of the approved Acrylic cleaners (see Operation & Use: Session Preparation: Cleanse Bed Surface), the acrylic surface still seems foggy, scratched, marked, or otherwise unclean, you can use the supplied acrylic-safe Novus #2 Fine Scratch Remover, and a soft organic cotton or microfiber towel. Follow the directions on the Novus bottle. Please note (as described in Notices) that each acrylic bed will have some amount of minor imperfections, such as small bubbles, small cracks, small areas of warpage, and/or other minor yet potentially noticeable imperfections.
m. Pressing Physical Button Does Not End Session: If pressing the physical button does not end the session, please reboot the Chamber as follows:
-
Power the unit off using the switch at the bottom backside of the Chamber and leave it off for 30 seconds, and then
